Where are my files stored?

Your files live in your Google Drive

When you upload a file through Tuck, it is sent to your own Google Drive account. Tuck does not keep a copy on our servers.

What Tuck does store

Tuck stores only metadata about each file:

  • The file name
  • The category assigned (e.g. Finance & Banking)
  • The date it was filed
  • A count of how many files you have organized

What happens during AI processing

To categorize your file, Tuck extracts its text and sends it to an AI model. This is done under zero-data-retention terms: the AI provider processes the text but does not store it, log it, or use it for training.

The contents of your documents are never stored by Tuck.

What happens if you delete your Tuck account

Your Google Drive files are yours -- they are not tied to your Tuck account. Deleting your Tuck account removes your Tuck data (metadata, history) but leaves everything in your Drive exactly as-is.
