What permissions does Tuck request?
Tuck's Google Drive permissions explained
When you connect your Google Drive, Tuck requests one permission scope:
drive.file — See, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app.
What this means
drive.file is a restricted scope. It means Tuck can only access files that Tuck itself created or that you explicitly uploaded through Tuck. It cannot see anything else in your Drive.
Why Tuck needs each permission
Permission | Why Tuck needs it |
|---|---|
See specific files | To confirm a file was moved successfully |
Create files | To receive the file you upload and place it in Drive |
Edit specific files | To move a file into the correct category folder |
Delete specific files | Not used — Tuck never deletes your files |
How to revoke access
- Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Find Tuck in the list
- Click Remove access
Revoking access does not delete your Tuck account or any files already in your Drive.
