How to connect your Google Drive

Connecting your Google Drive to Tuck

Tuck needs access to your Google Drive to create folders and move files. You grant this access once during sign-up — here is exactly what happens.

Step 1 — Sign in with Google

On the Tuck login page, click Continue with Google and choose your Google account.

Step 2 — Review the permissions

Google will show you a consent screen listing what Tuck is requesting. See What permissions does Tuck request? for a full breakdown.

Step 3 — Click Allow

After you click Allow, Google sends Tuck a secure token. Tuck stores this token (encrypted) so it can create folders and move files on your behalf.

You can revoke Tuck's access at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions without deleting your Tuck account.

What Tuck does with access

  • Creates a Tuck folder at the top level of your Drive
  • Creates sub-folders for each document category as files are organized
  • Moves uploaded files into the correct sub-folder

Tuck never reads, modifies, or deletes files that were already in your Drive before you connected.
