What file types does Tuck support?

Supported file types


Tuck can accept and organize the following file formats:


Documents


  • PDF (.pdf)
  • Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx)
  • Microsoft Excel (.xls, .xlsx)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx)
  • Plain text (.txt)
  • Markdown (.md)


Images


  • JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
  • PNG (.png)
  • WebP (.webp)
  • HEIC (.heic)


Videos


  • MP4 (.mp4)
  • MOV (.mov)
  • AVI (.avi)


Other


  • CSV (.csv)


For images and scanned PDFs, Tuck uses OCR to extract text for classification. Accuracy depends on image quality.


File size limit


Individual files must be under 50 MB. If your file is larger, compress it or split it before uploading.


Formats not yet supported


Password-protected PDFs, DRM-protected files, and files with no readable text (e.g. blank scans) cannot be classified. Tuck will return an error for these — see A file failed to process for what to do.
