Google Drive connection is not working

Fixing Google Drive connection issues

Signs of a broken connection

  • Uploads process but files do not appear in your Drive
  • A banner in Tuck says "Google Drive disconnected"
  • You see an authorization error when uploading

Fix 1 — Reconnect your Drive

  1. Go to Settings in the Tuck sidebar
  2. Under Google Drive, click Reconnect
  3. Complete the Google consent screen

This resolves most connection issues. Google sessions expire periodically and reconnecting refreshes the access token.

Fix 2 — Check your Google account permissions

  1. Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions
  2. Find Tuck in the list of connected apps
  3. If Tuck is not listed, access has been revoked — reconnect from Tuck Settings
  4. If Tuck is listed but still not working, revoke access and reconnect

Fix 3 — Check you are using the right Google account

If you have multiple Google accounts, make sure the account connected to Tuck is the one that owns the Drive you want to organize.
